How it Works -->

The exchange is fairly simple. If you have excess produce, you need a place to drop it off. If you are looking to pick up produce, you need a place to pick it up. Luckily, these places are all consolidated into as few places as possible (currently, one place, but if volume and demand become overwhelming, we may increase the number of exchange places)

On the next page is the contact info for people hosting exchange places, for security reasons we don't put their address online, but you can contact them and find out where to drop off or pick up. Because these people are sacrificing their own personal space and a measure of their freedom and privacy in order to provide this service, we ask that you be very respectful of their property and their time. Each person sets up their own hours of operation, when they can be bothered for produce, and when and how to drop off produce. Please follow their rules.

If you are interested in dropping off produce, please make sure you bring produce in boxes or bags that can be left at the drop off location, don't leave bulk piles of loose produce. If you have multiple varieties of produce, please sort them into separate containers, and if you would be so kind, label the containers with the day that you harvested them, or the day that you dropped off. We strive for the First in First out Principle, and don't want produce sitting around for too long, so please, help us accomplish this by also taking a few veggies when you drop off.

If you are interested in picking up produce, you will probably like to know what is available. To find out what is in stock, there are two methods. The home page of this website will have an updated post on what is available, how much, and when it arrived. Also, if you follow this link you can subscribe to a newsletter that will update you every couple of days whenever the inventory changes, it will have the same information as the home page of this website. Once you have decided what you want, contact the person who is storing that produce to reserve the produce, and set up a time to pick it up.

This all runs on a first reserve first serve basis. If you contact first, you get first pick. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we must have a conflict resolution method of some sort.

Thank you for participating and we hope you enjoy your produce.
